Transportation of large-scale artworks or musical instruments between Labrador and the island requires ferry bookings six weeks in advance during peak summer months, creating scheduling bottlenecks for multi-site projects.

Readiness requirements therefore emphasize documented access to temperature-controlled storage within existing church properties and written agreements with local school boards for after-hours use of gymnasiums. Applicants must also provide a contingency plan for weather-related ferry cancellations that includes budget lines for additional accommodation and instrument insurance.
