Small businesses in this segment may apply for the quarterly grant to offset costs of gear prototypes or dockside marketing infrastructure.
Nonprofits seeking the award must be incorporated under Newfoundland and Labrador registry rules and submit letters confirming active delivery of training within the preceding 12 months. Both applicant types must provide evidence that at least 70 percent of project participants hold current provincial fishing licenses.
